Two months ago, I underwent shoulder surgery implemented by Dr. Darr. I now feel 100% better than before my surgery. The quality of care received by Dr. Darr is very compassionate and helpful. Dr. Darr is very easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and caring. I would and already have recommended friends to see Dr. Darr.
I had shoulder surgery and was amazed at the short recovery time. I no longer have any pain. I am confident that I won't have any pain in the future and that gives me peace of mind. Dr. Darr is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to ensure you understand what is happening, what your options are, and what to expect for those options. He allows you to become empowered to make the best decisions for your care. I would recommend everyone to go to Dr. Darr. He is the only one in the area that I would recommend.
Surgery was a complete success. My shoulder is 100% better since surgery and recovery. Dr. Darr was very caring, compassionate, and he took time. I would recommend Dr. Darr to someone looking for a doctor.
I had rotator cuff surgery because I was experiencing so much shoulder and arm pain, I couldn’t do normal activities. Since the surgery I feel like I got my life back. I can work, exercise, and do things I enjoy again. I can't thank him enough. Dr. Darr provided great care. He was patient, explained all of my options, and listened to my questions and concerns. He has excellent skills in terms of treatment and personal interaction. I never felt like a number. I have already referred him to other patients and told them that Dr. Darr will go above and beyond to help his patients.
After ARP wave on my shoulder, I feel stronger and I am not in as much pain. I am gradually getting back to swimming. Dr. Darr was very thorough, very attentive, and discussed everything with me as a patient, not just my parents. He was, and is, a great physician. He made me feel part of the treatment plan. He is great and very professional, kind hearted, and again includes the patient as part of the treatment plan. Very interactive.
I was enrolled in the ARP wave program when I was 6 months out from a left shoulder surgery. I was coming along slowly, but still lacked full range of motion, some minor pain once in a while, and some strength loss in that shoulder. The ARP wave therapy was incredible. The sessions were not easy, but not painful either and the results were well worth it. I now have 95% range of motion, where before I only had 70%. My occasional pain in the side of the shoulder is now gone and I feel stronger and more confident to really start working out at the gym. I am now confident enough to work towards increasing the amount of weight that I lift since the ARP wave therapy.
I received the combined procedure of PRP and ARP wave; they made my healing process so much better. The ARP wave gave me back movement that I couldn't get in regular therapy and to me this was a complete success. The whole process was handled with care and professionalism. What stands out for me is that it was important to Dr. Darr that I was healthy and happy. Dr. Darr was willing to do whatever it took to get me there and back to work. I couldn’t have asked for better care from Dr. Darr and his staff. They truly care about their patients’ well being. Dr. Darr is unlike any other doctor and is up to date on the latest procedures that will benefit his patients.
I did both PRP and ARP wave for my shoulder and was cured without having any surgery. Dr. Darr was very good and he gave me different options for treatment. I was very happy to have the option of taking the ARP wave and the PRP. I think he is the best orthopedic doctor. I would recommend him to anyone that has a problem.
My left shoulder is much stronger than it was when I started ARP and my range of motion has improved. The staff is very friendly and the doctor takes time to explain every detail to me and makes a big effort to answer my questions and address any concerns I may have. They are also very accommodating to the worker's comp staff with any of their requests. I would recommend Dr. Darr on both personal and professional ends. I made my wife come here for her surgery because of the quality of care I have received from Dr. Darr.
My right shoulder/arm was giving me lots of pain and limitations after falling and landing on my shoulder wrong. An MRI showed a 50% rotator cuff and labrum tear and after resting the area for over a month, I still did not get relief. After the PRP along with the ARP, I can happily say that virtually all pain is gone. The doctors and entire staff are extremely accommodating, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. The front staff is always friendly and nice as well as everyone I dealt with one on one. To a friend looking for a doctor, I would say just do it. Well worth the time. Dr. Darr and entire staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and understanding of the need to feel good and safely rehab the area without surgery or drugs.
ARP wave therapy helped me recover from a shoulder injury that I got from swimming. I was able to get back to where I was, performance wise in swimming, right before my state meet. What stood out to me was how dedicated the doctors were in making sure I was getting the most out of therapy. I would say to a friend looking for a doctor, that my doctor is dedicated to his patients and really cares about his patients.
PRP and ARP wave improved my range of motion and alleviated most of my pain. Dr. Darr was very detailed on how the PRP and ARP wave would perform and help my particular injury. He would always spend adequate time with me explaining procedures and allowed me sufficient time to ask questions. Dr. Darr and his staff were very pleasant and friendly. I would recommend to anyone who is trying to avoid surgery to take a look at PRP and ARP. I had a 1-inch tear in my rotator cuff and with PRP and ARP treatment, most of my pain is gone and I'm playing golf twice a week. I am 65 years old and very glad I met Dr. Darr. Thank you so much!
The PRP procedure helped me to avoid rotator cuff surgery. The procedure aided in healing a partial tear of my left shoulder rotator cuff. I am now back to having no shoulder pain and back to normal daily routine. Dr. Darr and his staff were great. Prior to the procedure I was provided with all the information needed to make an educated decision. Before, during, and after the procedure the staff provided me with excellent care. I would say Dr. Darr and his team are truly professional and care about you as a patient. They are first class.
Prior to the PRP in both shoulders, I couldn't lift a coffee mug into the microwave with my right arm. The pain in my left arm was staggering If i allowed it to hang beside me. Since the PRP, I can aim my thumb straight downward while moving my right arm outward to bow my cello. The arm has limitations, but I am glad to be out of pain in my shoulder elbow and wrist. As for the left arm, I still cannot rotate the arm enough to play my violin, but I am able to begin recovery of my string playing shoulder since the PRP. Dr. Darr used ultrasound to identify tendon status in my arms prior to PRP. He also used ultrasound to inject the tendon and cartilage, giving me better results than what my colleagues have had where MDs didn't use the guidance of ultrasound. Very important was his ability to refute the MRI with contrast reports that suggests the tendons were broken. Dr. Darr seems confident about what he can do, and indeed has made an incredible difference in my ability to function as a professional cellist.
After the PRP injection, the pain in my shoulder and neck gradually got to a point where it became a nonfactor in my work and sleep. The quality of care was excellent and the doctor's belief in the method was a determining factor in my doing this treatment. I have already said to friends that I highly recommend this procedure as an alternative to surgery.
