Due to my back problem, I still do not do heavy exercising or lifting. However, since the PRP injection my hip no longer affects anything I do in life because of the PRP shot. I have been very pleased with how well Dr. Darr explains the procedure and how it will help. I would highly recommend this procedure and Dr. Darr!
The PRP treatments get rid of the hip pain and gradually make walking pain-free. The ARP wave helped to "wake up" muscles that had not been used in almost 18 months so that I could begin to climb stairs again. I never felt rushed by anyone- doctor. Nurse Practitioner, and/or staff, they always gave full attention. They felt concerned for what I was experiencing and a true desire to help me through this experience. I received the combined procedure of PRP and ARP wave; they made my healing process so much better. The ARP wave gave me back movement that I couldn't get in regular therapy and to me this was a complete success. The whole process was handled with care and professionalism. My left shoulder is much stronger than it was when I started ARP and my range of motion has improved. My right shoulder/arm was giving me lots of pain and limitations after falling and landing on my shoulder wrong. An MRI showed a 50% rotator cuff and labrum tear and after resting the area for over a month, I still did not get relief. After the PRP along with the ARP, I can happily say that virtually all pain is gone. The doctors and entire staff are extremely accommodating, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. The front staff is always friendly and nice as well as everyone I dealt with one on one. To a friend looking for a doctor, I would say just do it. Well worth the time. Dr. Darr and entire staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and understanding of the need to feel good and safely rehab the area without surgery or drugs.
ARP wave therapy helped me recover from a shoulder injury that I got from swimming. I was able to get back to where I was, performance wise in swimming, right before my state meet. What stood out to me was how dedicated the doctors were in making sure I was getting the most out of therapy. I would say to a friend looking for a doctor, that my doctor is dedicated to his patients and really cares about his patients.
